Product Details
Choose from three analog portable radios: the VX-451 (without display) and the VX-454/ VX-459 (with display). Water submersible and available with HazLoc consideration, it’s built for use in harsh conditions and hazardous locations.
With enhanced interoperability, the VX-450 series offers comprehensive signaling options including: MDC1200®, DTMF, deeper and richer 2-tone options, as well as 5-tone capabilities. And it integrates seamlessly into a mixed fleet, while allowing your system to grow as your needs do. Compatible with the universal battery system, you’ll eliminate equipment clutter and confusion by standardizing on one charging base for the entire team.
VX-450 Series radios include built-in Emergency and Lone Worker alerts. Emergency notification is user-initiated with a press of a button for the radio to switch to a designated channel and send and alert for help. Lone Worker mode is a built-in timer that requires the user to reset at a a predetermined interval. If not reset, the radio will automatically switch to Emergency mode to alert help.
constant contact is required at all times, the exclusive Auto-Range-Transpond System (ARTS) informs the user that other ARTS equipped radios are within communication range.
No two job sites are alike and the optional Man Down function (with purchase of DVS-9 unit) is programmable to monitor a variety of worker timed safety scenarios vertically and horizontally as well as worker degree of motion. Adjusting the settings of the 3-axis sensor adapts the radio to each distinct work environment to monitor movement.
