He did this with no pressure to actually buy the radios which I really appreciated.
Initially we were going to replace the old BPR40’s with new one’s as they were the ones we had been using for many years. Juris suggested that we consider the Vertex Standard VX-261 model as they were considerably lower priced then the BRP40, known to be a great quality radio and also offering a 3 year warranty as opposed to the one year warranty offered by Motorola.
The Vertex radio sounded like a great radio and there was also a promotion at the time that offered one free radio if you bought nine which was perfect as we were looking to get around that amount of radios. Juris brought some radios to our site and we were able to test out the Vertex Standard on our property. The range was great and suited our needs and also the sound quality on the Vertex was very good as well. The other thing that I liked about this radio was that it is much lighter than the BPR40’s we had.
After testing the radios out and being pleased with them we decided to purchase nine and take advantage of the offer for a free one when you purchase nine.
Within the same week Juris actually delivered all ten radios to our camp site all charged up and ready to be used. Upon initially using the radios we noticed there was a bit of interference on one of the main channels that we use and upon telling this to Juris he arranged to come in a timely manner and to program all our radios to another frequency right on site. Since then we’ve had no issues! I was very satisfied with the customer service I received from Juris and definitely wouldn’t hesitate to refer business to him. I am also very pleased with the Vertex Standard VX-261 so far and would definitely recommend it to others; it seems to be great value and it works really well. All in all a satisfied customer and will work with Juris in the future if we ever need more radios!
