We have found the radios to be especially helpful when staff are working on separate floors of the building – or even outside! There was a day when a staff member was in our parking lot to deal with a maintenance issue, and was needed at the desk. She was easily called back without the staff member at the desk having to leave the patrons who were in line. It’s great knowing that no matter where you are in the building, you’re not alone but are connected to other staff. The radios have saved us a lot of steps since staff can be directed where they’re needed, rather than having to physically go get them.
